Personal History
Nino Orlandi, C.A. graduated from Ryerson University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Business Management honors degree, having achieved the Dean’s list with a straight A average. The Chartered Accountant designation was obtained in 1981 following the successful completion of the Ontario School of Accountancy and the Uniform Final Examinations while employed with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloite Touche).
While employed with Touche in Toronto between 1980 and 1985, Nino gained a broad range of experience in business, accounting, personal financial planning and tax related matters. This experience was very diversified, having obtained exposure to clients in numerous industries.
To broaden his expertise, Nino also specialized in corporate and personal taxation for three years while with Touche. The tax experience was very extensive, with exposure to many personal and corporate tax situations. During this period, Nino also successfully completed the CICA In-depth tax course.
Nino was then employed with Price Waterhouse in Bermuda at a senior management level, directing the efforts of numerous audit staff between 1985 and 1987. The majority of the professional services were provided to a diversified mix of multi-national corporations.
Nino returned to Canada in 1989, after taking a sabbatical and traveling the world for a year and a half, and started his own accounting practice, providing personalized accounting and tax services primarily to owner/manager businesses.
Nino has continued to provide proactive and personal services to his clients since then. Nino believes in relationship building with his clients. That entails a commitment to providing close, personal attention to clients needs, supported by years of experience, technical expertise and continuing education.
